General Pump Kit 23 (K23) is the genuine OEM piston rod oil seal kit for General Pump T49, T50, and EZ44 series pumps. The three oil seals sit behind the pump head to keep pump oil in the crankcase and water out, preventing the milky, contaminated oil that leads to bearing and crankshaft wear. (The crankshaft seal is a separate kit.)
